1 1/2 hours of fun

I went to the Caney on Tuesday the 23rd for about an hour and a half. The generation schedule would allow 4 more hours but the weather had different ideas.  I managed to catch 7 trout, 4 rainbows and 3 browns, but none of any size.  There were only two others in my area, mostly due to the threat of rain.  Ed, the trout magnet rep, was there and he probably caught close to 10 so 7 wasn't too bad.  The thunder and lightning started about 11:30 so we got off the river.  We had about 2 inches of rain overnight, the Great Falls reservoir  raised over 8 feet so that means Center Hill will rise probably 3 feet which also means no wading the Caney for at least 2 weeks maybe 3.  Luckily,  I can bass fish on Center Hill in the meantime.  Merry Christmas to everyone.  Until next time, Pappy.
